Seeking Volunteers for CLR 2007

 

Volunteers have helped make the Christmas Light Run an annual tradition. Without the help of you, we would not be able to keep up with the growing participation -- and this year is no exception. We are seeking fun, energetic volunteers for group leaders, singers and photographers. All we ask is that you come join us for the CLR Volunteer run the week before to practice the course. Group Leaders
Leaders, better known as reindeer, help hand out bells and song lists before the run, but most importantly guide and lead the groups through DC city streets. (contact Jerry Jricci593@comcast.net if interested)

Singers
So, you want to sing and never had the chance, well here it is. We need a huge group of people this year to lead the groups in singing Christmas Carols. We are having a Christmas Carol party at Ed’s on Dec 8th (more info to follow) to get you guys in the Christmas spirit. Ed makes a wicked martini so after a few drinks, no one will care how bad you sing, it will all sound great! (Contact Ed edwillis@yahoo.com if interested)

Photographers
Last year we had a great group of photographers capturing the moments of the CLR. This year, we would like to do better. All it requires is a digital camera and some quick feet to get ahead of the groups to shoot that perfect moment. (contact Kevin gormleykevin@yahoo.com if interested)
